Day 1: First day: Arrival in Cusco + City tour.

Upon arrival at the Cusco city airport, one of our representatives will be waiting to transport you to your selected hotel. In the afternoon the City tour will take place, which will include a visit to the cathedral which has two naves, the company of Jesus and the holy family, inside you will see paintings from the colonial era and the Cusco school, then we will visit the Qoricancha, known as the temple of the sun, today is part of the convent of Santo Domingo. You will see pre-Inca, Inca and colonial-era constructions. Then we will leave the city of Cusco, visiting 4 archaeological zones: Sacsayhuaman, known as the Inca sanctuary, Q’enqo. Also called a zigzag place, Tambomachay, a place dedicated to the cult of water, Pucapucara also called a red fortress, finally we return to the city of Cusco. Day 2: Second day: Sacred Valley Tour connection to Machupicchu town (hot waters)

Breakfast at the selected hotel; In the morning, pick up from your hotel to enjoy the tour of the sacred valley. On the way we will make a brief stop at the Taray viewpoint, where we will appreciate a beautiful landscape of the sacred valley of the Incas, then we will visit Pisaq, the typical market where you can buy crafts, textiles (souvenirs), etc. Then we will take a short walk inside the archaeological complex visiting the Kallacasa sectors, agricultural platforms, water sources, and cemetery. Later we go to Urubamba where we will have our buffet lunch (local cuisine) continuing our trip towards Ollantaytambo, a living Inca city, after our guided tour we will go to the station to board the train to Machupicchu town, upon arrival our staff will be waiting to take you to your selected hotel. Includes: Breakfast, transportation, professional guide, buffet lunch, entrance tickets to attractions, train tickets Ollantaytambo – Aguas Calientes (Voyager and/or expedition), selected hotel.

Day 3: Third day: Machupicchu Tour – Ollantaytambo train – Cusco.

Breakfast at the selected hotel; In the morning we will board the ecological bus towards the Inca Sanctuary of Machupicchu, the guided tour lasts approximately 2 hours to 3 hours and then free time. Its walls, the intiwatana, plazas, terraces, water fountains, enclosures, staircases from the Inca period, make Machupicchu one of the seven wonders of the world. Optionally, you can take the walk to the viewpoints of Huaynapicchu / or Machupicchu Mountain, which will take a few hours depending on the physique of each person (The visit is without a guided tour and has an additional cost of 60 $ dollars). Completing the guided tour we will board the return bus to the town of Machupicchu – hot waters, free time for lunch, then we go to the station to board our return train to Ollantaytambo and take our transportation to the city of Cusco. Includes: Breakfast, bus ticket Aguas Calientes – Machupicchu – Aguas Calientes, entrance ticket to Machupicchu, professional guide, train ticket Aguas Calientes – Ollantaytambo (Voyager and/or expedition), selected hotel. Day 4: Cuarto día: Tour Montaña de colores – Vinincunca.

El recojo de su hotel será por la madrugada (04:00 – 04:30 a.m.) para luego dirigirnos hacia el sur de la ciudad de Cusco; por un recorrido de dos horas aproximado hasta llegar al poblado de Cusipata – Paucarpata donde degustaremos de un delicioso desayuno semi buffet, luego continuaremos por 40 minutos hasta el punto de inicio de caminata, el guía les dará una breve recomendación para iniciar la caminata la cual dura una hora y treinta minutos aproximadamente , para llegar a la montaña de colores – Vinincunca el cual se ubica a los 5020 msnm,16,466 pies en todo el trayecto observaremos, la flora y fauna de la zona, llamas, alpacas pastores con el traje típico de la zona, el paisaje es rodeado por hermosos picos nevados que son parte de la cordillera de los andes, el Apu o Dios Ausangate ( montaña sagrada) es una de las más altas del sur del Perú. Nuestro guía explicara la orografía, ecosistema ubicación de la zona luego tiempo libre para las fotografías posteriormente retornaremos a la movilidad con destino a Cusipata para nuestro almuerzo buffet. Finalmente retornaremos hacia la ciudad Del Cusco. Incluye: Transporte, guía profesional, desayuno semi buffet, almuerzo buffet, ticket de ingreso a la montaña, hotel seleccionado. How fit do I need to be to do this trek?

Annapurna Base Camp is a Grade B or a moderately difficult trekking route. So any fit person can do this trek, even if you do not have any previous experience. You should be aware of what to expect and mentally prepare for it. Then, as long as you will to, you can.

How long do we walk every day when doing Annapurna Base Camp trekking?

On average, you walk about 4 to 6 hours per day. One or two days can be as less as 3hrs and one or two days can be as long as 7hrs.

What is the highest altitude reached in this trek?

The highest altitude reached is 4190m. This is the elevation of Annapurna Base Camp. ABC is the highest we will climb in this trek.

What about battery charging and hot shower facilities?

Yes, you can charge batteries en route. Charger should be brought. There are hot shower facilities as well. You may have to pay certain amount for both ($1-$2). Negotiate. Also, hot water facility could be free at lower elevation.

Are there ATMs on the way to Annapurna Base Camp?

No. There are no ATMs on this trek route. You will have to draw enough cash in Pokhara or Kathmandu. There are a number of ATMs in these cities. Everything is paid in Nepali rupees. So money should be exchanged before the start of the trek.

What about internet access?

Yes. Internet can be accessed in most places. Sometimes, there might be some technical problems. Internet in Nepal is not as fast as you are used to and at times you can just lose connection.

Is it necessary to hire Guides/trekking agency for Annapurna Base Camp trekking?

Not really. It depends on you. If you want, ABC trekking can be done independently. You could hire a guide and a porter by yourself instead of going through an agency or not hire a guide at all. Although, not having a guide can be a little problematic during off season.

It really depends on you. Is it your first time in Nepal? How confident are you of being able to find your way around? How pressed on time are you? If you go through an agency, it will be costlier but everything will be planned. You will only have to come, trek and return.

How much do guides and porters cost?

For Annapurna region, pay for guides range from $20 to $30 per day and porters take $15 to $25 per day.
